In the 21th century, manufacturing industrys of all countrys of the world are facing customized client requirement and global market competition environment. To win the market and client, modern manufacturing industrys are aiming to research and implement advanced manufacturing technology(AMT) and comtemporary integrated manufacturing system(CIMS). Many manufacturing patterns are advocated in advanced manufacturing technology, and all manufacturing patterns focus on manufacturing process model. In fact, the manufacturing process model is the core technology of process modeling, process analysis, process reengineering and process management.Manufacturing process model is researching on various aspect. At present, lots of enterprise modeling architectures of manufacturing system have been built. All these architectures include multi-view models that made up of process view and many other association views. Many manufacturing process modeling approachs are applied in process view, for example event-driven process chain(EPC) and workflow modeling approach. Many process simulation tools are integrated to the manufacturing process model, and used to optimize and reengineer the manufacturing process model to improve many performance indices. At last, software system is developed to support the process model, and is run in workflow management system.In this paper, manufacturing process model is emphasized and researched in many fields in detail. The research contents are as follows:(1) Based on manufacturing enterprise modeling and business process engineering, Integrated Manufacturing Process Modeling(IMPM) architecture is introduced. IMPM mainly focuses on process view of manufacturing model. The many other views of IMPM are associated to provide support only. The dimension of object reconfiguration is added to IMPM, and object oriented technology and reconfiguration oriented technology is introduced. IMPM extends Unified Modeling Language(UML) metamodel, uses Metaobject Facility(MOF) to add new model elements and uses Object Constraint Language(OCL) to restrict the semantic of these new model elements. IMPM uses these new model elements of multi-view model to build business model, which provides the sufficient theory support for manufacturing process modeling.(2) In process view of IMPM, object oriented event-driven process chain(oEPC) is...
