Roles Of Media In Constructing The Ethics

The analysis of media in this thesis is based on the vast background of the social life and culture, for the purpose of combining the research about the instrumental system with the research of the value system. And we think the kernel of the social value is the system of the ethics. This thesis begins with the concerns on the exposition about the nature and the changes of the ethics in the process of the social development. Then it sets off a discussion about the media culture through the relations between the development of economy and the culture, and points out some ethical problem in the media culture in our society. Some ideas about practicing communication ethics are put forward at the end of this thesis. In brief, the focus of this thesis is on the issue of media抯 responsibility, which plays an important part in guiding the construction of ethics in today抯 China.
