Research On Schooling Characteristics Of Hunan International Economics University

Schooling Characteristics, as a trend of reform on school mode of Higher Education, is becoming a hot question concerned by domestic and overseas education practice and educational theory research. To pursuit or shape schooling characteristics is also becoming one of key development trends to the universities and colleges in the world. Especially under the situation of successive Enrollment of Public University, the private colleges and universities have to survive and develop with their own characteristics. Schooling characteristics of Private Colleges have their unique training objectives, training mode and cultivating specifications resulting from meeting the social demand and playing their own advantages. Hunan International Economics University always implements its Teaching work target "Let Students Really Learn",build up the strategic target of "Century Shewai, First-class Shewai", is gradually becoming the feature of Shewai after ten years'exploration and accumulation.This article discusses the presidency characteristics, institutional characteristics, disciplinary characteristics, teacher characteristics and personnel training characteristics of Hunan International Economics University. These several aspects are interrelated and have inevitable logic relations. It discusses the two major elements of school characteristics including principals and teachers.This article is aimed to summarize the successful experience of HIEU seriously and what to be improved, on the basis of discusses and research on schooling characteristics, triggering the private colleges'thinking about how to overcome challenges for its survival and development, and how to promote Higher Education Development of China comprehensively.This Article divided into four parts:The first part introduces the research background, research theory and practical significance of this article, and comments on past domestic and overseas research comprehensively, and explains research ideas and research methods used in this article.The second part firstly defines the related concepts of Private Universities characteristics, analyzes their connotation, characteristics, and realistic significance, then analyzes Schooling Characteristic and realistic foundation of private colleges.The third part introduces briefly the Research Object-Hunan International Economics University, and schooling characteristics of Hunan International Economics University dividing into six areas specifically, such as the presidency characteristics, institutional characteristics, disciplinary characteristics, teacher characteristics and personnel training characteristics.The fourth part is to summarize the experience of Hunan International Economics University on schooling characteristics, and comes to a conclusion that there is a need for improvement through brief comparison with the University of Chicago and combining with the current status of Hunan International Economics University.
