Teacher's teaching monitoring capability is one of the core factors of a teacher 's comprehensive character , and is the key to teaching effectiveness. The purpose of our research is to be acquainted with the present condition of high school chemistry teachers' monitoring capability, to investigate and analyse impact factors, and to give some constructive suggestions about how to improve the ability.The paper is mainly divided into the following five parts :The first part is an elaboration of the research. According to the present education and social background ,the writer puts forward this topic and chooses three kinds of research method included literature research ,case study and questionnaire. And further the writer elaborates the significance of this topic.The second part is concept definition. The writer redefines some important concepts involved in research ,such as teachers' monitoring capability and its constitution and function mechanism, and chemistry teachers' monitoring capability as well.The third part is a summary of the present research situation about teachers' monitoring capability. With referring to literatures and explicating the theory foundation, the writer clears up domestic and international development process of research on teachers' monitoring capability.The fourth one is principal part of research. With the questionnaire of chemistry teachers in Changchun Experimental High School ,attending and reviewing classes ,the writer attains the current condition of senior high school chemistry teachers' monitoring capability ,analyses the impact factor, and elaborates the main content of the research.The fifth one is conclusion and suggestions. It is concluded from the analysis of the current situation and impact factor of senior high school chemistry teachers' monitoring capability. At last it gives some advice on improving the ability.
