Because of the new curriculum reform, Classical Chinese teaching of secondary education aroused widespread concern in the education sector once again. How to improve the Classical Chinese teaching of secondary education? The discussion about this question has become the focus of attention for everyone. These teaching and practice of reform has greatly promoted the development of Classical Chinese teaching, but the research of the reform in teaching material and test was still weak. As a concentrated centerpiece of the spirit of the Curriculum standards, the reform in teaching material and test has a guiding significance to the Classical Chinese teaching in secondary schools.Through the analysis of the new teaching materials, we found the life and narrative article was increased, the requirements about the understanding of article was increased, More attention to modern and classical Chinese ties. The test about understanding and appreciation has been increased, so we should change the original" implementation of a word by word "teaching methods.This article based on the research of the reform in junior teaching material and test, contact the actual situation, put my views: In order to overcome the psychological weariness of students, first, we should eliminate the sense distance between the students and classical, Promote meaningful learning. On this basis, as teachers, we should foster the people-centered concept of education; change the teaching mode from teacher-centered to student-centered, to enable students to accept Classical Chinese study.
