School-based curriculum development is a historical progress in our national curriculum revolutionary history. It is anew requirement to our schools and teachers, it also is a severely challenge to all school and teacher. So teachers of the Mongolian nationality middle school feel that they have big pressure and don't know how to deal with it. From the practice of curriculum development of, Mongolian nationality middle school, we can see that they are deficient in school-based curriculum, even there are much misunderstanding, which lead to lack of the instruction of curriculum development. All of them effect not only theory-construction of school-based curriculum, but also our practice and consummate of curriculum. So it is necessary to clarify the basic definition and specific on school-based curriculum.I want to discuss the basic definition and specific steps about school-based curriculum in Mongolian nationality middle school. It puts, forward a basic thought on a school-based curriculum development in order to have benefits for our schools. 1. Summary introduce generalization of school-based curriculum development in order to bring reference on Mongolian middle school, the paper introduces the conditions about our country and foreign countries. Secondly confine the school-based curriculum development, analyzing and clarify differences in school-based curriculum, selective course, active course teacher's our department course and school course, which can help us uncover the essence of school-based curriculum, 2. The meaning of Mongolian nationality school-based curriculum development bases on the specific problems on school-based curriculum development. This paper points out the necessity of school-based curriculum development, reality and long-term meaning. 3. Simple opinions on school-based curriculum development. It is the main content of my paper which dicusses how to develope the Mongolian school-basedcurriculum.firstly, from definition, content, the way and methods of the school-based-curriculum development, the paper offers several advices and thoughts in order to provide the basic definition of the school-based curriculum development. Secondly, it offers the basic steps of school-based curriculum development in Mongolian development, which should be provided with procedures, such as preparatin, organization, and summary.In all, I think the school-based curriculum development should base on the reality of our own school, absorb experiences of our nation and other countries, develope tradition and morden technology of own nationality and create our own school distinctive features.
