The exercise effects of different basic steps of aerobics of school female students weretested and analyzed in this research. The mainly research aspects of this paper rely on theindex of energy expenditure, heart rate and so on. Based on the measurement of energyexpenditure of aerobics basic steps, the exercise effects on fitness were revealed. Theparticipants’ heart rate were also tested in this research, and the relationship of heart rate andenergy expenditure of every aerobics basic step were also analyzed. On the base of this, theregression equation of the energy expenditure and heart rate were given out. TheMeasurement of energy expenditure of aerobics basic step is of great importance for people. On the one hand, it can provide effective guidance to elementary school and middle schoolon choosing effective teaching model and teaching method, on the other hand it can alsoprovide quantitative reference basis for people to choose appropriate aerobics content toexercise.Subjects and methods:10middle school girls were selected as subjects, which are16to19age; The test steps including march, V step, step touch, grapevine, knee lift, running jump, jumping jack, lunge jump, skip. Each step was tested in the same rhythm. The VO2000cardiorespiratory system and Polar were used to measure the subjects’ cardiopulmonaryfunction in this Experiment. The main measurement indexes including oxygen consumption, respiration quotient, heart rate and so on. The low-impact steps were tested for2minutes,and five continuous number was selected as effect data on a relatively stable state; highimpact steps were tested for1minute and30seconds, and five data points of near themaximum number were selected as effective data. Between different steps test subjects in allreturn to normal state of heart rate, and the next measurement can be tested. According to thedata, the energy expenditure of different steps were analyzed and compared. Results: energy expenditure of basic steps: nine basic steps are divided into fourlow-impact steps and five high impact steps, Energy expenditure values are respectively asfollows V step:0.0530kcal/kg/min, step touch:0.0487kcal/kg/min, grapevine:0.0556kcal/kg/min, knee lift:0.1048kcal/kg/min, running jump:0.1040kcal/kg/min, lungejump:0.1070kcal/kg/min, skip0.0875kcal/kg/min. One of the lowest step average energyexpenditure is0.0437kcal/kg/min, the highest average is jumping jacks with0.1011kcal/kg/min, with the discrepancy value0.0574kcal/kg/min. Compared the step of energyexpenditure, high impact of energy expenditure is significantly higher than low impact level; From ANOVA of energy expenditure in the basic aerobics step, it can be seen that differentaerobics step existed significant differences with statistical significance. Each basic step theheart rate: the different value between march and V step, step touch are11.0Beats per minuteand10.2beats per minute respectively, and with no significant difference. The average heartrates of high impact steps are of difference from lower impact steps, the step of high impactstep heart rate is significantly higher than heart rate of low impact steps. The relationshipbetween heart rate and energy expenditure: experiments show that there is a correlationbetween most of the step of heart rate and oxygen consumption during exercise. So the energyexpenditure of different aerobics steps can be conjectured based on their liner relationship.Given that measurement conditions of energy expenditure are yet ready nowadays in primaryand secondary school in physical education aerobics teaching, and heart rate measurement isconvenient easy, therefore, in this research, the regression equation of heart rate and energyexpenditure is given, in order to provide advantage and quantitative testing for energyexpenditure in the middle school sports teaching.
