Clinical Study For Warming Moxibustion Effect On Precursor Of Stroke

Objective To investigate the clinical effect and its part mechanism of warming moxibustion on patients with precursor of stroke.Methods 60 patients who diagnosed as precursor of stroke were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, warming moxibustion therapy for treatment group, oral aspirin for the control group.After the two courses of treatment, it compared the stop time and the number of cases for the TIA attack, blood lipids, blood rheology changes and followed up the incidence of ischemic stroke after treatment.Results 1.After treatment the rate of stopping seizures TIA within 72 h for treatment group and controlgroup were 83.33% and 60.00%.In one week the former TIA control rate was 100%,the latter was 96.67% and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). 2.TG for the treatment group before and after remedy, has a significant difference(P<0.01);Comparing D-value between two groups after treatment, the level of TG has significant differences(P<0.05).3.Comparing the two groups before and after treatment, the index of hemorheology have significant differences(P<0.01);the difference of plasma viscosity and hematocrit, between the two groups compared before and after treatment, were significantly different (P<0.01).4.Two groups have not patients suffer stroke during the treatment;Two groups were followed up after 2 months.The treatment group had no cerebral infarction, while 1 case of the control group occured ischemic stroke.Conclusion Through this study, It has shown that warming moxibustion could rapiddly control TIA,better than the control group,improve the abnormal hemorheology, reduce blood fat, and thus it has also played an important role in preventing the stroke as well as treating it.The therapy group did not appear ischemic stroke cases after 2 months followed up.
