Clinical Study Of Buyang Huanwu Decoction Combined With Moxibustion On Ischemic Stroke Precursor Of Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis Type

Objective:TO observe the clinical therapeutic effect and its probable mechanism of Buyang Huanwu Decoction(BYHWD)combined with moxibustion on ischemic stroke precursor of Qi Deficiency and Blood Stasis(QDBS),and to provide the theoretical basis for clinical application.Method:A total of 120 cases of patients who diagnosed as ischemic stroke precursor with QDBS,and all the patients choosed from Neurology in Ruikang Hospital affiliated to Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.60 cases of patients were randomly divided into treatment group and comparison group.Aspirin and the conventional western medicine for two groups.On this basis,the comparison group was given BYHWD.Also the treatment group was given BYHWD combined moxibustion therapy.After the 14 days of treatment,it compared the clinical efficacy,the stop time and the number of cases for the TIA attack,blood flat,the changes of blood rheology and tracking the incidence of ischemic stroke between the two groups.Using spss 19.0 statistical software to analysis of the data.Results:1.Clinical curative effect:Two groups of patients after therapy,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 91.6%,and the comparison group was 78.3%.The curative effect of the treatment group was better than the comparison group and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).2.TCM syndrome score:The scores of TCM syndrome in both groups were lower before the therapy.And the effect of the treatment group was better than that of the comparison group.It suggested that BYHWD combined moxibustion can improve TCM symptoms of ischemic stroke precursor patients and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).3.TIA stop attack:After treatment the rate of stopping seizures TIA within 7 days for treatment group and comparison group were 91.7% and 71.7%.In two weeks,the former TIA control rate was 100%,the latter was 91.7%.The onset of TIA was effectively controlled in treatment group after 14 days of treatment while 5 cases in the comparison group were not effectively controlled.4.Laboratory index:The changes of blood lipid index and hermorheology index in the treatment group were better than those in the comparison group after therapy,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).5.Incidence of stroke:Two groups had not patients suffer from ischemic stroke during the treatment period.The treatment group had 5 cerebral infarction cases while 13 cases of the comparison group occured ischemic stroke in 6 months later.Conclusion:1.The BYHWD combined with moxibustion can significant treat the patients of ischemic stroke precursor with QDBS,and it can improve the Traditional Chinese Medical clinical syndromes.2.It has shown that BYHWD combined with moxibustion could rapidly and effectively control TIA.Also it can preventing the ischemic stroke as well as treating ischemic stroke precursor through reduce blood flat and improve blood rheology.The treatment group did not appear ischemic stroke after 6 months observe.
