The Research Of Traditional Chinese Medicine In The Treatment Of Perimenopausal Syndrome Caused By The Treatment Of Breast Cancer

Objective: To observe the effect of xiaoyaoerxiantang(XYEXT) on perimenopausal syndrome caused by the treatment of breast cancer and explore the mechanism of it. Methods: 60 patients with perimenopausal syndrome caused by the treatment of breast cancer were divided into two groups at random: the treatment group and the control group. The treatment group was given XYEXT, and the control group was given Oryzanol. After three months, evaluate the efficacy. Results: The effective of symptoms,syndrome of TCM,quality of life,CD subgroup of peripheral blood T lymphocytes of the treatment group are better than that of the control group (P<0.01 or P<0.05). XYEXT has no marked effect on estrogen level and no toxic and adverse effect(P>0.05). Conclusions: XYEXT appears to have the significant effect in the treatment of perimenopausal syndrome caused by the treatment of breast cancer. XYEXT can relieve hot flush, perspiration, depression, irritability, fatigue, insomnia, palpitation, vertigo and other perimenopausal symptoms, it also can improve the quality of life and regulate the function of immune system. For breast cancer patients, it has no marked effect on estrogen level and no toxic and adverse effect.
