Clinical Research On Acupuncture Therapy Of Scapulohumeral Periarthritis By Single Point Zhongping Of The Affected Side

ObjectiveThis issue is under the guidance of traditional Chinese medicine theory, through the system of clinical trials, single-point acupuncture treatment of frozen shoulder ipsilateral Zhongping clinical efficacy, to explore more effective for the disease and methods of treatment for patients relieve pain and restore joint activities of functional.MethodThe 62 eligible patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, each group is 31 cases. Affected side were used acupuncture points and local Zhongping single acupuncture treatment for 2 cycles. Use the shoulder disorders evaluation as evaluation of therapeutic,. Evaluation included pain, shoulder function, shoulder range of activities, X-ray evaluation and joint stability. Shoulder dedicated medical staff is completed by specialized medical personnel. Respectively for the first time before treatment and after 2 cycles of treatment were evaluated.ResultsCompare with gender, age composition and lesion side and severity ofî–ºhe treatment group and control group, the diagnostic standards have no statistical significance (P>0.05). It is comparable. Before treatment, Compare with the pain scores, the functional scores, the range scores and the total scores of treatment group and control group, the diagnostic standards have no statistical significance (P>0.05). It is comparable.After two courses of treatment,4 cases recovered in treatment group,8 cases were markedly effective, and 15 cases were effective,but 4 cases were invalid. The total effective rate was 87.1%;In control group,3 cases recovered,8 cases were markedly effective, and 14 cases were effective, but 6 cases were invalid. The total effective rate was 8.7%. After statistical testing, it is no significant differences (P> 0.05), It suggests that the efficacy of the two groups are exact. After treatment, The two groups were compared with those before treatment and found that the score in each group after treatment was significantly higher than that before treatment, it was significant (P<0.05). It suggests that Single-point acupuncture Zhongping tips and local electro-acupuncture can alleviate shoulder pain and improve function, restore range of activities. Comparing the two groups each other after treatment, found that the score of pain relief and improved function was no significant difference,it was not significant (P> 0.05);But the score of the restoration activities in the scope of the treatment group, which was significantly higher than the control group. it was statistically significant (P<0.05). It prompts that the restoration of shoulder range of activities in the treatment group have better clinical efficacy than that in the control group.ConclusionThe results suggest that:Whether single-point acupuncture affected side Zhongping has Significant effects and local electro-acupuncture treatment of Scapulohumeral Periarthritis. Both can effectively relieve pain and improve function, restore range of activities. But in the scope of restoration activities, treatment group achieved better results than the control group.
