ObjectiveThe development of productive forces of nature and human understanding of continuous improvement to the medical model has undergone tremendous change in the mode of medical education which is also a fundamental change took place. The traditional concept of a one-time medical education have been gradually replaced by the concept of lifelong education. Continuum of medical education has been basically formed, the process of this continuum there are three mutual convergence, content and requirements are different, the nature and purpose of the different stages of education, namely, the basic institutions of higher learning in medical education, medical education after graduation and continuing medical education. Residency training is an important component of graduating medical education, and play an important role in connecting high level of clinical training of medical personnel. By collecting Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University in 2003, 2004, 2005 residents participated in the standardization of residency training in gender, age, education, job title, ideological and moral quality, attendance, quality of medical records, clinical skills, clinical medical records of analytical ability, clinical theory, professional foreign language ability as well as the comprehensive situation of the standardization of residency training in our school before and after the effect of the reform of the analysis of the functional departments of hospitals in the practical implementation and management of the process of providing a scientific basis.Object and methodsCollected 2003 to 2005 the residents in Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University participate in residency training, residents' gender, age, title, education, ideological and moral quality, attendance and other basic information, the balance among the three groups of tests; the three Residents in the quality of medical records, clinical skills, clinical analysis of the capacity of medical records, clinical theoretical, professional and comprehensive assessment of foreign language performance analysis of variance, analysis of the other difference was statistically significant variables were the use of LSD method compared the number of 22. In this study, the establishment of the use of the software Epi info database, double entry of data and logic verification, the application of SPSS13.0, SARS8.0 software for statistical analysis.ResultsFrom 2003 to 2005 the residents in Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University participate in residency training, residents' gender, age, education, job title, ideological and moral quality and the composition of attendance there was no significant difference:The quality of the medical records, clinical skills, clinical analysis of the capacity of medical records, clinical theoretical, professional and comprehensive assessment of foreign language were statistically significant differences in the performance in these three years; The quality of medical records, clinical results of the analytical capacity of the medical records are statistically significant difference between; Clinical skills performance in 2003 and 2004 was no significant difference, compared 2003 and 2005 ,and 2004 and 2005 are statistically significant difference; Clinical theory, foreign languages, as well as a comprehensive assessment of professional performance in 2004 and 2005 was no significant difference ,between the 2003 and 2004 ,2003 and 2005 compare the differences were statistically significant.ConclusionsThrough the Standardized residency training reform, the quality of resident performance in the medical records and clinical results of both analytical skills there an upward trend for two consecutive years, we can see the reform of the medical records so that the resident's ability to manage significant improvement;Raise the level of clinical skills in relation to the quality of medical records and clinical case analysis of the capacity of these two aspects of the late emergence; Clinical theory and professional level foreign language does not appear too much progress. Although the medical records management and clinical skills of the standardized residents training reform have a certain effect, but also need further refinement.
