Research On Rural Medical Security Mode In China

Rural medical security mode plays a significant role in the reform of the social economic system. It also plays a significant role in reducing the economic burden of the farmers and resolving their poverty resulting from their medical problems. It embodies the principle of the socialist justice.In the Chinese medical security system, rural medical security mode compared with that in the cities, is severely under-developed. Such a situation, which seriously impedes the development of the agriculture and the countryside . Rural medical security mode influences the economic security and social stability both in the countryside and the whole nation, which has grown into a bottleneck to the improvement of our national modernization process and the rural marketing reform.The purpose of this dissertation is to analyze and discuss the respective characteristics of three bodies, which are namely rural residents, medical establishment and government. The demand of rural residents for rural medical security mode is insufficient; Monopolization of medical establishment in the medical service market leads to its behavior of inductive demand; The absence of Government's function has restricted the development of rural medical security mode. This dissertation elaborates the classification and choice of the rural medical security mode in China, discusses the good and bad points of foreign medical insurance. The last chapter of this dissertation brings forward the realistic choice of its pattern, that is the multi-layer medical security mode, which means eastern area, middle area and western area of China with different economic level should choose different combination of patterns, and further presents several policies and proposals for different bodies...
