In market economy system, drastic competition is an unavoidable problem to hospitals. High quality employee is essential factor for hospital to survive the competition and develop; hence human source management becomes more important. The core of human source management is to explode out the potential of the staff through means of incentive methods, and this consequentially gains more achievements for the organism. According to the modem human source management theories, job satisfaction of the staff is highly associated with the incentive managements, and an incentive policy unaccepted by most of the staff won't work. How to carry out an efficient incentive plan to increasing the job satisfaction? This is a problem to the managers of hospital.In order to answer the question of the above, a study was carried out in仙桃hospital. The situation of human source management and incentive policy was investigated. Some problems were discovered and the reasons were also analyzed. The job satisfaction was also investigated through questionnaire and interview, and the main unsatisfied aspects were statistical analyzed. An optimized incentive plan was achieved based on the investigations. The plan includes an incentive aim, 6 incentive principles, 4 incentive mechanisms and 4 specifical incentive methods.This study led to several conclusions: universal understanding is the sole of incentive mechanism; scientific assessment of working contribution is the base of inspiring mechanism; fair distributive system and correct employing system are the "motor" of incentive mechanism; people oriented hospital culture is the key factor of incentive mechanism.
