Clinical Observation On Treating The Cervical Spondylosis Of Vretebral Artery Type With Pingxuan Decoction

Objective:To investigate the effect of Ping Xuan Decoction on the cervical spondylotic arteriopathy(CSA).Methods:Seventy-two patients with sympathetic CSA were selected and were randomly assigned into a treatment group(n=36 cases),given pingxuan decoction;and a control group(n=36 cases),administered Dianbaizhutangjiang. After constant treatments for four weeks,we observed the change of symptoms,blood flow of vertebrobasilar artery.Results:The total effective rate of the treatment group is 93.93 %,while the control group is 75%.The former is significantly better than the latter (P＜0.05).There was also statistically significant difference between the two groups in terms of improving symptoms,increasing brain blood supply.Conclusion:Pingxuan decoction had better effect than the control group.
