The Clinical Study Of Haemorrhoids With The Defecation Habits And The Distribution Of The Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndromes Of Haemorrhoids

Purpose:By collecting the practical data of medical histories,symptoms,physical signs of the haemorrhoids patient,to access the distribution of the relativity and the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndromes of haemorrhoids and the defecation habits.Methods:This research adopts the way of questionnaire to evaluate completely 240 hemorrhoid patients' disease histories,symptoms,physical signs and the defacation habits,by collecting, gathering statistics,analyzing the time,frequency,and the qualities of feces of the haemorrhoids patients,observing the relativity of the invasion of hemorrhoids and the defecation habits;by collecting,gathering statistics,analyzing the medical histories,symptoms,physical signs of the haemorrhoids patients,observing patients in different periods.And then summarize and conclude the distribution of the traditional Chinese medicine syndromes of haemorrhoids.Results:1.The relativity of haemorrhoids and the defecation habits1.1 The relativity of the invasion of the haemorrhoids and the defecate timeOnce defecation time distribution of 240 haemorrhoids patients:11 cases shorten the time, 206 cases lengthen the time.The result of analysis by Ridit:there is no relativity between the invasion of haemorrhoids and shorten the time of defecation(95%,CI includes 0.5);But there is direct relativity between the invasion of haemorrhoids and lengthen the time of defecation(R= 0.8324).1.2 The relativity of the invasion of the haemorrhoids and the frequency of defecationThe frequency of defecation distribution of 240 haemorrhoids patients:13 cases more than 3 times per day,44 cases less than twice per week.The result of analysis by Ridit:there is no remarkable relativity with the invasion of the haemorrhoids and the frequency of defecation (95%,CI includes 0.5).1.3 The relativity of the invasion of the haemorrhoids and the traits of defecationThe traits of defecation distribution of 240 haemorrhoids patients:6 cases too sofeing of the defecate,92 cases hardening of the defecate,16 cases change of the feces' shape and properties.The result of analysis by Ridit:there is no remarkable relativity with the invasion of the haemorrhoids and too sofeing of the defecate(95%,CI includes 0.5),But there is direct relativity between the invasion of haemorrhoids and hardening of the defecate or change of the feces' shape and properties. (R=0.6971,R=0.5852).2.The distribution of the TCM syndromes of haemorrhoidsThe TCM syndromes of 240 cases are:66 cases syndrome of wind-heat invading intestine,158 cases syndrome of damp-heat flowing type,11 cases syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis type,5 cases syndrome of sinking of spleen qi.Result:the more TCM syndromes of haemorrhoids is damp-heat flowing type and wind-heat invading intestine.2.1 The period of haemorrhoids and the distribution of the TCM syndromes of haemorrhoidsThe 1st period of haemorrhoids 55 cases,among which 43 cases of syndrome of wind-heat invading intestine,12 cases of syndrome of damp-heat flowing type,no case of syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis type,no case of sinking of spleen qi;The 2nd period of haemorrhoids 83 cases,among which 21 cases of syndrome of wind-heat invading intestine,57 cases of syndrome of damp-heat flowing type,4 cases of syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis type, one case of sinking of spleen qi;The 3rd period of haemorrhoids 94 cases,among which 2 cases of syndrome of wind-heat invading intestine,83 cases of syndrome of damp-heat flowing type,5 cases of syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis type,4 cases of sinking of spleen qi;The 4th period of haemorrhoids 8 cases,among which no case of syndrome of wind-heat invading intestine,6 cases of syndrome of damp-heat flowing type,2 cases of syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis type,no case of sinking of spleen qi.Result:the TCM syndromes of the 1st period of haemorrhoids more is wind-heat invading intestine,and the 2nd 3rd and 4th period of haemorrhoids syndrome more is damp-heat flowing type.2.2 The course of haemorrhoids and the distribution of the TCM syndromes of haemorrhoidsThe course of disease with 240 haemorrhoids patients:43 cases in one month,among which 38 cases of syndrome of wind-heat invading intestine,4 cases of syndrome of damp-heat flowing type,one case of syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis type,no case of sinking of spleen qi; 57 cases betweem one and twelve monthes,among which 28 cases of syndrome of wind-heat invading intestine,26 cases of syndrome of damp-heat flowing type,2 cases of syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis type,one case of sinking of spleen qi;73 cases between one and five years,among which no case of syndrome of wind-heat invading intestine,65 cases of syndrome of damp-heat flowing type,6 cases of syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis type,2 cases of sinking of spleen qi;67 cases out of five years,among which no case of syndrome of wind-heat invading intestine,63 cases of syndrome of damp-heat flowing type,2 cases of syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis type,2 cases of sinking of spleen qi.Result:when the cosurse of haemorrhoids in one month,the TCM syndromes of haemorrhoids more is wind-heat invading intestine;when the cosurse of haemorrhoids in one year,the TCM syndromes of haemorrhoids more is wind-heat invading intestine and damp-heat flowing type;when the cosurse of haemorrhoids out of one year,the TCM syndromes of haemorrhoids more is damp-heat flowing type. Conclusion:1.The relativity of haemorrhoids and the defecation habitsThe invasion of haemorrhoids and the defecation habits have direct relativity,and the most remarkable is to lengthen the time of defecation(R=0.8324),the next is the hardening of the defecate(R=0.6971),moreover is the change of the feces' shape and properties,but there is no remarkable relativity with the invasion of the haemorrhoids and the frequency of defecation and loose bowel movements.2.The distribution of the TCM syndromes of haemorrhoidsThe TCM syndromes of the 1st period of haemorrhoids more is wind-heat invading intestine, and the 2nd 3rd and 4th period of haemorrhoids syndrome more is damp-heat flowing type;when the cosurse of haemorrhoids in one month,the TCM syndromes of haemorrhoids more is wind-heat invading intestine;when the cosurse of haemorrhoids in one year,the TCM syndromes of haemorrhoids more is wind-heat invading intestine and damp-heat flowing type;when the cosurse of haemorrhoids out of one year,the TCM syndromes of haemorrhoids more is damp-heat flowing type.But it less to see the syndromes of qi stagnation and blood stasis type,less also sinking of spleen qi.
