Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate and predominate the circs of the nuclear and radioactive emergency medical resource in Tianjin. When the nuclear and radioactive emergency happen in Tianjin we can offer the gists for decision-making and directing the nuclear and radioactive emergency medical succor ,and we can organize the existing medical power and put up the emergency medical succor in good time. This study evaluated the existing medical resource and tabled the conformity proposal so that we can take full advantage of existing medical resource in Tianjin and make the work of the nuclear and radioactive emergency medical succor well.Methods:A survey was carried out in the whole radioactive sanitation institutions, sanitation administration departments and the hospitals above two degree(be called by a joint name: medical and healthful institutions) .The survey was an overall survey. It registered and investigated the actuality of the nuclear and radioactive emergency medical resource and emergency preparative in Tianjin by sending out questionarise and field surveying. The survey results were input Excel and the data-base was set up. We analysed the datas using the SPSS11.5. We described the survey results using the statistical graph and table and did the statistical analyse.Result:1. the actuality of the nuclear and radioactive emergency medical resource and emergency preparative of the radioactive sanitation institutions: the radioactive sanitation institutions have done some works correlative to the nuclear and radioactive emergency such as managing the nuclear and radioactive accidents, participating in diagnoszing the radioactive illness and accepting the nuclear and radioactive emergency train. But the deficient actuality of the nuclear and radioactive emergency medical resource and emergency preparative existed include the radioactive sanitation branch not being regarded, radioactive detectability being lack a little, the medicament variety reserve of the nuclear and radioactive emergency being lacking badly, standing emergency body and the nuclear and radioactive emergency process being inadequate, detect equipments being increased and the personnel of the radioactive sanitation institutions not being enough.2. the actuality of the nuclear and radioactive emergency medical resource and emergency preparative of the emergency organizing system: the emergency organizing system(indicated the sanitation administration departments ) organized the the nuclear and radioactive emergency knowledge trains.
