The severe competition in medical market has caused decline of employees'enthusiasm lack of service consciousness, brain drain of high-level talents, and the growing patients'complaints against services in hospital.Motivation is one of the important problems in human resources management. It's the key to construct the timed-release motivation system and to strengthen the competing power in the development of the organizations.The reform of medical treatment market is at the important step of the structure reform after entering to the WTO, The ownership forms and the management system of Chinese medical service present a many-entity situation. The concurrent of many ownership forms and operation patterns, such as public hospitals at first, private hospitals and co-operational hospitals that make the competitions in the medical service market extending to the campaign in the medical resources market. The competition of talents in the high -class hospitals will be growing fiercely. So far, the draining of core human capital caused weakness of competition power that means the competition focus of the hospitals has changed from "the competition of product or service" to "the competition of talent power".How to face to the drastic competition after being divorced from the support of the government, they are the main problems that the operators have to be against. As a special organization, a hospital has something in common with an enterprise in its management, that is, two-factor also exists in hospital management. Some of factors are basic and prerequisite, without these factors, the hospital will lose the condition and chance of survival, but that does not mean the hospital would be excellent with these factors, which is health protective factor. There are some other factors, which can be positively applied to make the hospital outstanding in the fierce market competition. Without them, the hospital is likely to develop slowly, even stagnate.This paper takes the motivation of the staff in Hospital A for an example, with two-factor theory, making an investigation on the motivation reasons for the staff and mainly adopting the ways of questionnaire. According to the questionnaire, the paper gets the reliable data, analyzes the demands of the staff and the structure of the motivation factors with the statistical analysis, finding out the dominant factors of the demands and motivation factors. This paper puts forward the basic principles and blue print of the motivation system in hospitals.
