Purpose:The research aims at the status of nurse manager burnout, and building path model at the basement of outcome of correlation and regression analysis. Reveal the relationship among social support,personality,coping and burnout. Give Advices for research in the future.Method:This paper is in the method of questionnaire including social support rating scale,16-PF,Maslach burnout inventory facility coping style questionnaire. To choose 251 nurse managers in position in seven comprehensive hospitals from ShiJiaZhuang and Harbin serve as object. Data was analyzed by Spss11.5, including analysis of variance ANOVA,correlation analysis,regression analysis and path model.Outcome1 The standard burnout of nurse managers is higher. About 36.9% nurse managers are in the highest burnout level. For one factor, 47% nurse managers are diagnosed by the Maslach standard at DP, 45%at PA, and 48.6% at EE.2 The outcome of the demography factors analysis: The scores is significant disparity between the aged group <41 and > 41 at EE. The scores is significant disparity between the aged group <34 and others at DP. And the same outcome is found at PA. The scores is significant disparity between the wok time group <10 and others at EE. And the same outcome is found at PA,DP. For the time of being position, the score of EE is aligned from high to low : <5 group,6-10 group,>11 group; There is significant disparity between <5group and others at DP and PA. At educational background, those who graduate from university get higher scores than those who are in under graduate course at EE. Those who are in middle special academic and from university get higher scores than those who are in under graduate course at DP. Those who are in middle special academic are lower than those who are in under graduate course at PA. At professional title, there is no significant disparity between nurse managers.3 The main predictor factors in personality for burnout: There are seven personality variable"I","A","Q3","B","I","F","O","C"for EE. Among them"A"factor contributes 23.1% to EE alone."A","Q3","B","F","C"are negative correlation with EE."O","I"are positive correlation with EE. There are six personality variable"I","G","L","O","F","C"for DP. Among them"I"factor contributes 16.2% to DP alone."G","F","C"are negative correlation with DP,"I","L","O"are positive correlation with DP . There are four personality variable"B","A","C","L"for PA. Among them"B"factor contributes 14.2% to EE alone. The higher the scores of those factors is, the higher the scores of PA. 4 All factors in social support and coping style are significant correlation with burnout(p>0.01).The outcome of regression analysis reveal social that support and coping style make adjusted effect .Conclusion1 The burnout is serious in nurse managers. About 36.9% nurse managers are with the highest burnout2 There is significant disparity at age work time .The time in position and educational background. Those who are young,less work time and less in position,have higher burnout .There is some hints that we should consider educational background; work time ;time of in position ;age when select nurse managers .3 The research confirms: there are mesomerism when coping style,social support and personality make concomitance effects on burnout.4 Optimistic is direct effect to EE. And it can make indirect effect to EE through passive coping style and objective social support .It is main predictor to EE. Sensibility is main personality factor to predict DP. Intelligence makes significant effect on PA. Outcome advise that Optimistic,Intelligence,Stable emotion and low perceptibility can avoid the developm- ent of burnout.5 Personality can make direct effect and indirect effect through social support and coping style .the concrete mechanism of action is:"A","I","Q3","F"make direct effect on EE."A","I", "Q3"make indirect effect through passive coping style and object social support and subjective social support ."I","G"make direct effect on DP."I","L","O"make indirect effect through coping and social support。A make direct effect on PA."A","B","C","L"make indirect effect through subjective social support and social availability and positive coping style on PA.Passive coping style can predict the level of EE .The more the scores of passive coping style is, the higher the level of EE get. Positive support makes no effect on EE. And the same is between passive coping style and PA. The outcomes reveal that they are independent matter and no absolute opposite relationship between them.
