Purpose: To investigate common disease on middle and primary school students, to find out its occurrence, developing rule and tendency, existent problem, therefore provide information for precautionary measures, and healthy education.Method: Random grouping sampling, or overall investigation. Dividing schools into public and private ones, grouping public schools, overall survey on public senior high school, private schools; and random grouping sampling on the others; Information of students in seventeen schools starting from 1997 to 2005 are collected and analyzed; independent heath records are utilized;Utilization software Epi info2000 and concise statistical software to carry out statistics; This survey includes myopia, trachoma, caries, adenoids and etc; various information are analyzed and compared with province and national situation; During sampling, strict procedure are established to make sure of sampling quality; Data are collected twice by independent person, and software is established to compare data to ensure correct information resource.Result:1. In 1997-2005, the morbidity of common disease in public schools: myopia 52.95%-70.18%; trachoma 3.82%-10.56%; caries 21.13%-14.96 %; adenoids 3.13% -7.46%; In 2001-2005, the morbidity of common disease in private schools: myopia 48.89%-68.07%; trachoma 5.90% -38.68%; caries 11.09%-8.78%-27.62%; adenoids 6.64%-11.62%;2. 1997-2005 the morbidity of common disease in public schools, sampled from Junior one to Senior three: myopia, male 26.77%-83.21 %, female 31.79%-92.01%; trachoma, male 9.25%-19.71%, female 10.85 %-13.39%; caries, male 30.91%-11.96%, female 30.30%-16.18%; adenoids, male 8.99%-2.35%, female 7.93%-2.23%.2001-2005 the morbidity of common disease in private schools, sampled from junior one to senior three, myopia, male 26.32%-82.47%, female 29.10%-87.74%; trachoma, male 12.72%-26.29%, female 16.40 %-10.45%; caries, male 17.67%-18.59%, female 20.11%-22.28%; adenoids, male 11.66%-7.97%, female 10.05%-12.69%.3. The morbidity of common disease in Dezhou schools x2 between male and female shows p<0. 05.4. 2001-2005, the morbidity of common disease in Dezhou schools x2 between public and private schools shows statistical validity.5. The morbidity of common disease x2 between Dezhou schools and national schools shows p<0. 05.6. Prediction model for myopia: xk (k+1)=80.5647e0.0402k -25.0114 Prediction model for adenoids: x1 (k+1)=14.9768e0.02755k -4.7068Conclusion:1. Morbidity of myopia, trachoma, caries are increasing; Morbidity of adenoids is basically decreasing;2. With increasing of age, morbidity of myopia is increasing, whilst morbidity of trachoma and adenoids are decreasing; morbidity of caries is close relating to age;3. Female Morbidity of myopia is higher than that of male; morbidity of trachoma, caries and adenoids differs between male and female with different ages;4. Morbidity of myopia, trachoma, adenoids and caries in public schools is different with that in private schools;5. Comparing with province and national situation, morbidity of myopia and trachoma in middle school is higher than status in Shandong province, whist that in primary school is lower than status in Shandong province; Morbidity of caries in middle and primary schools is lower than that in Shandong province; in general, morbidity of myopia, trachoma and caries is higher than overall status of country;6. Prediction model for myopia and trachoma are complying with actual situation;...
