Objective:To investigate the basic situation of the region in myopia, analyze the epidemic characteristics, factors and risk behaviors, evaluate comperhensive interventions for improving the effectiveness of myopia-related behavior, provide the basis for future related interventions.Methods:In this study, stratified cluster random sampling method, random Chongqing City High School (End), and all six primary total 12 schools for the survey, of which six schools in the intervention school for a period of six months related intervention and control schools without any intervention, before and after the intervention visual examination and questionnaire for all respondents.Results:1. The primary visual poor detection rate of 53.4% of the total, which accounts for poor vision myopia of 96.5%. Poor vision girls (56.4%) than boys (50.6%), urban students (54.1%) than rural students (52.5%), students (40.1%) was significantly lower than the high school students (including junior high and high school) (71.9%), and differences have statistically significant (P<0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that the main factors of myopia include learning eye less than a foot away from the books, myopic parents, parents limit their children are not watching TV/playing time of electronic products, the average daily outdoor activities, and the daily sleep.2. The difference between myopia and myopic group of non-related behavior in myopia is mainly manifested in the average daily homework/ watching TV/playing computer time, the average daily outdoor activities, the daily sleep, when you use the computer with the eyes, the eyes away from the book case, Parents tell their children watch TV/play electronic products, such as the frequency of our eyes and whether parents limit their children watch TV/play electronic products when reading and writing.3. Students of different genders, different school age students and students in urban and rural areas are also differences in myopia-related behavior, mainly in the average homework/watching TV/playing computer time each day, the average daily outdoor activities, the daily average exposure to the sun, using a computer aspects of the situation.4. The interventions taken for changing behaviors related to myopia have some effect, mainly in the average daily homework time declined to participate in outdoor activities and more exposure to the sun, reading and writing to improve posture, parents tell their children watching TV/ playing computer to increase the frequency of our eyes, and in the students’ use of computer time, eye behavior when using a computer, the students sleep, the parents of the students in the use of electronic products, restrictions are not ideal.ConclusionsThe poor vision more serious and has certain characteristics in Chongqing, and have many influence factors, students have different characteristics related to differences in the myopic behavior. Students-School-integrated family interventions can improve the myopia-related behavior, but also to further explore and research related interventions in the future, more targeted intervention in schools emphasize concern premise of improving the relevant administrative departments and health attention and support to improve the degree of involvement of the family and society, and promote our students to develop good habits with the eyes, to further improve students’ short-sightedness.
