Objective To establish archives for refractive development of tianjin binhai new area of primary and middle school students to understand the region refractive development present situation,to explore the myopia development rule,and the region of small and medium-sized students guide the treatment and early prevention of myopia.Methods A total of 3,462 primary and middle school students aged 6 to 17 in binhai new area were randomly selected.Refractive examination mainly included: naked eye vision,corneal curvature,axial length,diopter,height and weight.The questionnaire mainly includes family history,history of eye diseases,time of outdoor activities and the use of electronic products.Use Excel for data statistics.Results1.The general situation of the sample: 3462 primary and middle school students in binhai new area,including 1804 males,accounting for 52.1%of the total sample size;The number of women was 1658,accounting for47.9%.2.Refractive status: with the increase of the age,the defect rate of the samples increased gradually,the visual acuity of the naked eye gradually decreased,the prevalence of myopia gradually increased,and the diopter was more myopic.In the case of the right eye of the male aged between6 and 17,the defect rate increased from 27.27% to 91.67%,the visual acuity of the naked eye decreased from 4.97 to 4.77,the prevalence of myopia increased from 6.61% to 91.67%,and the diopter was developed from-0.15 D to-3.73 D.The axial length of primary and middle school students increased with age,and corneal curvature did not change significantly.For example,the axial length of the eye was increased from22.98 mm to 25.43 mm.3.Related factors: according to the result of nearsightedness related factors questionnaire,this paper mainly analyzes the family history of myopia,electronic products the use of time,whether to have the habit of reading in the car or other means of transport,such as outdoor activity time.Results show that a family history of myopia prevalence of myopia is higher,the use of electronic products for a long time,less time for outdoor activities and read in driving the car or other vehicle will lead to the increase of incidence of myopia.Conclusion Near-sightedness is a serious public health problem,especially in high myopia,not only lead to the naked eye eyesight to drop,affect the students' normal study and life,more can lead to cataracts,glaucoma,retinal detachment,all sorts of complications,such as produce great threat to people's vision,while increased state and the economic burden of the family.Binhai new area of primary and middle school students myopia prevalence increased with age showed a trend of increase,the myopia diopter also shows the tendency of increase,girls than boys more likely to suffer from myopia,and myopic degree is higher.Related factors,according to family history of myopia,less time for outdoor activities,the use of electronic products time increased and read in the car and other vehicles will lead to increased incidence of myopia.The establishment of the archives of refractive development of primary and middle school students can help us understand the refractive status of children and adolescents,and help us to explore the development rule of myopia,and to guide the prevention of myopia.
