Objectives: To build the disease and syndrome combined animal model of Yin deficiency and Excessive heat in type-2 diabetes mellitus, in order to explore the method and standard of Yin deficiency and Excessive heat animal model in type-2 diabetes mellitus.Methods: 60 mice were randomly divided into three groups. Besides the normal control group, other two groups were all given high fat diet, four weeks later, one of the two latter groups was injected Stroptozotocin tobuild type-2 diabetes mellitus model ------diabetes mellitus blank groupand Yin deficiency and Excessive heat group. The latter were built by traditional Chinese herb Gan Jiang and Fu Zi for four weeks, then treated by traditional Chinese medicine Yu Nv Jian。.Results: The Rat of Yin deficiency and Excessive heat group were hyper drunk, hyper suffered, diuresis, thin, curled up, liked to gather, lazy to move, grew slowly, body hair with no sheen, thin bowel, struggled faintly when given hurb, more symptom of dry stools, red tongue with less moss, etc. In the Yin deficiency and Excessive heat group, the level of serum triglycerides, total cholesterol, Low density Lipoprotein, Plasma cortisol and the level of Insulin FT3 and 6-keto-prostaglandinia were obviously higher, and Thyroxin B2 were evidently lower than that in normal control...
