Clinical Study On Gang An Fumigating-Washing Granules For Hemorrhoid

Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of Gang an fumigating-washing granules in the treatment of hemorrhoid.Methods:In this research,we consulted many documents from beizhou dynasty to qing dynasty and collect 193 formulae,then through statistics and my tutor's experience we got the formula for hemorrhoid. Cases with hemorrhoid were picked out and divided into the treatment group (60 cases) and the control group (40 cases).The former was given Gang an fumigating-washing granules for fumigating and washing;the latter given 1:5000 PP solution for fumigating and washing.Both groups were compared after a course of treatment (10 days).The symptoms as anal pain,anal swelling,itch,bearing-down, prolapsus and bleeding were chosed as the observing criteria.Observation and statistics were maken both before and after the treatment. Result:The totle effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33%,which had remarkable difference with control group (P<0.01).The effective rates of the symptoms as anal pain, anal swelling, itch, bearing-down, prolapsus and bleeding were 97.50%, 100%, 100%, 93.88%, 91.67%, 90.48%,which were much better than control group (P<0.05 or P<0.01).The effective rate of three kinds of hemorrhoid were 94.44%, 92.31%, 90.91%,which had remarkable differences with control group (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Conclusion :Gang an fumigating-washing granules has the function including clearing away pathogenic heat, removing pathogenic poison and heat from blood,decreasing pain and bleeding, driving away the wind and drying the pathogenic dampness.It can improve such symptoms significantly as anal pain,anal itch, bearing-down,etc.Side effect has not taken place. Gang an fumigating-washing granules is an effective formula for hemorrhoid.
