Objective : To observe the clinical curative effect of Gangxing Fumigating-washing Granules in the treatment of anorectal diseases.Methods : 120 cases with anorectal diseases were picked out and divided into the treatment group (80 cases) and the control group (40 cases). The former was given Gangxing Fumigating-washing Granules for fumigating and washing and hip bath;the later was given 1:5000 PP solution for fumigating and washing and hip bath. Both groups were compared after a course of treatment(10 days). The symptoms as anal pain, anal swelling ,hematochezia, anal bearing-down and anal moistness were chosen as the observing criterions, which were calculated as 0 , 2 , 4 , 6 points respectively based on asympotorn,mild symptom, moderate symptom, serious symptom. Observation and statistics were maken both before and after the treatment.Rusult : The total effective rate of the treatment group was 92. 50%. The effective rates of the symptoms as anal pain, anal swelling, hematochezia, anal bearing-down and anal moistness were 92. 31%, 100%, 93. 62%, 96. 77%, 100%. Both sides were much better than the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion : Gangxing Fumigating-washing Granules has the function including clearing away pathogenic heat and removing pathogenic heat from blood, detumescence and alleriating pain, astringency and arresting bleeding, activating qi flow and drying the pathogenic dampness. The curative effect is marked in the treatment of anorectal diseases.It can improve such symptoms significantly as anal pain, anal swelling .hematochezia, anal bearing-down and anal moistness. Gangxing Fumigating-washing is a kind of effective preparation for anorectal diseases.
