The Clinical Study On Treatment Of Cervicogenic Headache With Turtle-probing Needling At Point Tianzhu

This article is to evaluate the efficacy of therapeutic effects between the treatment group treated by turtle-probing needling at point Tianzhu(BL10) and the control group treated by the routine generality (many) needle puncture.The purpose is to research a method of treatment on Cervicogenic headache and benefit to select point. According to the theory of TCM and combining the clinical symptom,we think the main pathogenesis of Cervicogenic headache lies in "disturbance of Qi and blood hindering the mendians",and the therapeutic key lies in "regulating Qi and blood ,and removing obstruction in the channels to relieve pain ".Before and after treatment, main symptoms were assessed , visual analoguescale ( VAS ) , and the average blood flow velocity of vertebral and basilar arteries were investigated by transcranial Doppler. After treatment, we had the similar therapeutic effects .But there were significant differences between the two groups in the first three times, The turtle-probing needling at point Tianzhu(BL10) has a better therapeutic effect on alleviating headache than the routine generality(many) needle puncture. This therapy was effective and reliable method on Treating of Cervicogenic headache.
