Turtle, Eight Methods Of Opening And Closing, Subject And Object The Acupoints Order On Late Pregnant Rat Uterine Contractile Activity Of The Experimental Study

The Spirit turtle eight laws was created under the influence of the traditional Chinese concept of"correspondence between man and universe", and was an important constituent in the study of acupuncture and moxibustion in ancient times. It applied the Eight Diagrams and the Nine Temples principle. In accordance with the wax and wane of Yin- yang theory, in combination with the human body's Eight convergent acupoints,and on the basis of the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches a method of calculation was brought forth. At current date, the study of time acupuncture and moxibustion is still quite dynamic. However the study of the Spirit turtle eight laws remains only in clinical studies. They are restricted to only the study of the Eight convergent acupoints in certain open and close acupoint time, and the order of needle insertion is recalled even less. Needling order is often neglected in clinic. Needling order, the acceptance of acupoint stimulation is an important factor in the updating of acupuncture. Therefore, a study of this problem is certain to carry weight.This experiment is aimed at seeking the best needling acupoint time and needling order through comparing the influence on uterine contraction and endocrine system caused by different needling acupoint time and needling order in the Spirit turtle eight laws, especially between'open time'and'close time', between'order of host-guest needling', and'order of guest-host needling'; in order to provide scientific evidence for the use of acupoints in the clinic, especially an antenatal clinic. And henceforth in order to offer a preliminary law of choice in an antenatal clinic.Healthy grown-up female Wistar rats were the study objects, while electric acupuncture was the method of stimulation. The rats were randomly divided into five groups; normal control group, late pregnant control group, Open-acupoint group, Guest-acupoint group and Close-acupoint group. Firstly, the open Zhaohai time was calculated, then open-acupoint and close-acupoint were needled 5min each. After this, Hegu (LI4) was needled for 20min, and then Sanyinjiao (SP6) for 5min. The values of intensity, frequency and activity of uterine contraction and the contents of serum E₂, P, TXB₂,6-K-PGF and ratio of E₂ and P , ratio of TXB₂ and 6-K-PGF_1a were measured.
