The Social Support Network Of Patients With Cleft Lip And Palate

Cleft lip and palate is one of the most common congenital diseases. Children with cleft lip and palate in the process of children growing up is facing many psychological and social needs. As a helpful object,social work can use professional methods and skill to help them adapting the society, and create a good social environment for children’s growth.This paper will be based on the theory of social support network.Make "rebirth psychosocial support service" as the breakthrough point of the project. Make the needs of the patients with cleft lip and palate and problems as the research object. Integrate and use the resources,build effective strong ties and weak relationship between the social support network.It is order to help patients to improve living conditions,and Improve the social support system.In addition, more than general social work intervention is based on three main methods of social work, case work, group work and community work as the main way to carry out focusing on service.This method of social work intervention direct effect is obvious,but in the long run, the lack of continuity.This study will provide a new framework for action----Advocates of social work.From the service object, community environment, advocating for the administrative, legislative advocacy to help patients recovery of social support system, make its continuity and long-term social work service.
