ObjectiveThe study aimed to analyze the present situation of quality of life,psychological capital and social support of gynecological malignant tumor patients,and to explore the relationship among positive psychological capital and social support and quality of life of gynecologic malignant tumor patients.From the angle of psychology,it provides theoretical basis for finding measures to improve the quality of life of patients.MethodsFrom March 2017 to March 2018,patients with gynecological malignancy diagnosed by pathology in Shandong Cancer Hospital were selected by convenient sampling method.Demographic characteristics questionnaire and positive psychological capital questionnaire(PPQ),)were used respectively.The Social support scale(SSRS)and the European Organization for Cancer Research and treatment(EORTC QLQ-C30)core quality of life scale(EORTC QLQ-C30)collected patient demographic data,positive psychological capital levels,social support system status,and quality of life(QOL).Descriptive statistics,independent sample t-test,analysis of variance,Pearson correlation analysis,multiple linear regression analysis and so on were carried out with statistical software SPSS21.0.Results(1)The quality of life(QOL)of patients with gynecological malignant tumors was lower than that of the European Cancer Organization and treatment Center,and the overall QOL score was(41.12±15.19).In the functional field,the highest scores were emotional function(54.76±20.91),social function(54.34 ±26.55),role function(62.82±23.64),somatic function(66.37±17.34),cognitive function(68.40±24.51).The scores of symptoms were fatigue(47.28±18.29),nausea and vomiting(39.36±25.27),pain(33.63±22.62),The highest score of single item was economic difficulty(67.02±24.36);(2)The total score of social support in patients with gynecological malignant tumor was(42.16 ±7.30),higher than domestic norm;(3)The scores of psychological capital items from high to bottom were hope(4.61±1.10),optimism(4.27±0.93),self-efficacy(3.97±0.99),toughness(3.95 ±0.80);(4)Demographic data were tested by independent sample t-test,and univariate variance showed that there were differences in age,marital status,place of residence,education level,personality type,interest and hobby,monthly income and self-care ability.The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);(5)The results of Pearson correlation analysis showed that there was a positive correlation between the overall quality of life level and social support dimensions(P < 0.05),fatigue and social support dimensions in symptom level,subjective support and support utilization in nausea and vomiting.Pain was positively correlated with the availability of support(P < 0.05).There was a positive correlation between the quality of life and the dimensions of psychological capital(P < 0.05).(6)The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that social support had predictive effect on psychological capital(B ? 0.408,t ? 7.185.P < 0.001),and social support had predictive effect on quality of life function(B ? 0.304,t ? 6.200,P < 0.001).Social support had predictive effect on both the whole level and the whole level(B ?0.223,t =3.941,P< 0.001).Social support and psychological capital had predictive effects on both functional status and overall level(psychological capital B?0.260,t=5.307,P<0.001).Social support B ?0.198,t=3.899,P<0.001),psychological capital has predictive effect on the overall level of psychological capital(B ? 0.404,t = 7.440,P < 0.001).Conclusion(1)The quality of life of patients with gynecological malignant tumors is low and the social support is at the middle level;(2)The functional status,symptom level and overall quality of life of patients with gynecological malignancy were different according to demographic characteristics;(3)The functional status and overall quality of life of patients with gynecological malignancy were positively correlated with each dimension of psychological capital,social support,symptom level and psychological capital,social support;(4)Social support has positive predictive effect on psychological capital,social support and psychological capital have positive predictive effect on functional condition,and psychological capital has positive predictive effect on overall quality of life;(5)Social support can not only directly affect the function and the whole quality of life,but also indirectly affect the function and the whole quality through the psychological capital.
