This paper analyzes the status quo of PIM both in academia and industry, gets clear about the underlying problem of low PI ability in enterprise is caused by lacking of a effective PI management and evaluation method. However,there isn't a suitable and highly effective way put forward by domestic & foreign scholars to satisfied enterprise's need in this fierce competition environment.Therefore, this paper starts with the technical framework of lean product innovation management, establishes transition-to-Lean roadmap for lean product innovation management and brings forward a value stream analysis method for PI- redefines value in PI by comparing the difference of PI value stream map with manufacture value stream map; lays emphasis on the creation process and factors of flow value. Based on above definition and compare, this paper also explains how to analyze and protract current state value stream, eliminates the wastes inside of it and redesign a future state value stream. Third, AHP-fuzzy synthesized evaluation is built as the arithmetic based on three aspects: product innovation ability, innovation process ability, degree of waste elimination. Besides, a VB program is write to reduce the complicated calculation in this arithmetic. In the end, L Company applied this technology and method to its mobile phone development and prove its validity.The technical framework of lean product innovation management is effective proved by practical application, and provides method to help enterprise eliminate wastes from whole and establish lean enterprise.
