A Study On The Humanized Design Of Public Space In The Historic District Which Under The Commercialized Reconstruction

For there are cultural value, emotional value and use value in the historic district, it has made the historic district to become a city card which could reflect the city's character. However, it is lacking in humanized concern of the public space design which is for the function of blocks updated replacement and changes, for the history blocks which in the context of the commercial concerned more with the protection of elements of various material and economic interests of the acquisition.In this paper, the research and analysis of public space design of some historical districts in the context of the commercialization in our country make us to know how to explore the public space with regard to the humanized problems, and study the excellent design experience in them. It is based on the theory research of human nature at home and abroad, and the selecting of appropriate methods of research that we can summarized all the design aspects of humanized design. Concluded that the human design principles to be followed and the design elements. The principles conclude the principle of respecting people and history, principle of sustainable development and principle of public participation. The design elements can be concluded in two main aspects which in static and dynamic. These elements are used in the humanized design of public space in historic area. Based on the research in the theory and the analysis of the examples, the writer makes a conceptual design of the transformation in College of Xi'an Gate Street public space.Through the conceptual design, it can reinforce the relative of theory and practice. And also some effective design strategy can be made to solve the problems which identified by the corresponding theoretical research and the actual state of research.Humanized design is the next design theory which is guided by the design concept and direction. Especially in the historical neighborhood public space design, the humanized design embodies the idea of Humanism, it still needs further in-depth in the design and research in future. Hope that the results of this research are able to play a role as a reference in the design of the public space which is in the historic blocks that under the commercialization in the future.
