With the development of the industrial level and the improvement of people's living standard, the automobile industry and road traffic transportation is developing rapidly. However, with the rapid increase of vehicle quantities traffic accidents occur frequently, which not only threatens people's life but also results in enormous economy loss. Thus how to use the computer simulation theory comprehensively and correctly study accident reconstruction has become a research subject of important social meaning.The theory of vehicle impact is researched profoundly and a new vehicle collision accident reconstruction and analysis system is carried out with computer science and theory of vehicle impact. This purpose is to auxiliary reappear the whole precession of vehicle accidents, judge the party's responsibility, reduce civil disputes and criminal litigation and get experiences from these traffic accidents.Based on system design, this main work of this paper is as following:Firstly, on the basis of reading large numbers of literature, the paper summarizes the status in quo of research, recent fruits and development trend of the traffic accident reconstruction system, and engages in the total design for this system combined with the present situation of accident investigation in our country.Secondly, combined with knowledge of mechanics, the paper deeply studies four models in vehicle collision: one-dimension face collision, one-dimension afterbody collision, opposite-centric collision and deflection-centric collision, uses reverse-reasoning method to calculate vehicles speed and analyzes perturbation resistance of the models by typical two-vehicle opposite-centric collision models.In addition, the paper summarizes a visual simulation of VR and introduces the knowledge of OpenGL. The vehicle model is established by 3DSMAX 7.0.Finally, according to the system design a 3D simulation and reconstruction software is established with Visual C++ 6.0, OpenGL, 3DSMAX 7.0. It's permitted to change the parameters such as the angle of view applying the visual reality in the interest of getting living effect in visual environment.
