The Research On Adaptive Design Of High-rise Residential Area's Outdoor Space In The City Centre

Based on the new social economical and cultural background of Chinese cities, this dissertation makes a new research and discussion on the theories and methods to construct the outer space of high-rise residential areas in the city centre, which is achieved by using the theories of urban architecture, widely combined with the latest theories of other related disciplines. After dissecting the meaning, the systemic characters and the humane values of the outdoor space of high-rise residential area in the city centre, the author attempts to bring forward his original theories about the strategies and methods of the holistic construction, which are expected to be beneficial to the practices of the outdoor space of high-rise residential area in the city centre today.This dissertation is made up by the following six parts:Part one is a preface, which introduces the background of my choice item, basic thoughts and methods of the thesis. It also explains some important concepts.Part two announces the paper object of study--outdoor space of high-rise residential area in the city centre, which has a characteristic of a society---space entity via rather systematic discussions on the concept, systematic composition, characteristic, status of development and questions in planning and design of outdoor space of high-rise residential areas, thus brings us deep,overall knowledge to the intension,essence and characteristic of the outdoor space of high-rise residential area.Part three at first draws into the adaptive Design methods, after that discourses separately two adaptive Design factors of outdoor space of high-rise residential area in the city centre: one is inhabitant'needs of field sport; the other is the city public'needs of field sport .Chapter four introduces interrelated theoretical principle and design practice to the outdoor space of high-rise residential area in the city centre.Part five is the focal point in the paper, which introduces separately six sides of the adaptive Design methods of the object of study: mode of adaptability structure, organically connection with city space, harmonious space and form, reasonable traffic and parking, integrative kinetic place and landscape design, and interactive creation etc. The epilogue concluding summarizes the adaptive Design methods of the object of study, and look into development trend of the research on adaptive design for the outdoor space of high-rise residential area in the city centre in the future.
