| Against the backdrop of an ageing population and the development of high-rise,high-density settlements, the "421" or "422" family model has become popular.Older people are taking on the responsibility of helping to care for children, with the old and the young becoming increasingly close to each other. Both have more time on their hands and are limited by their physical vulnerability, which prevents them from moving too far,so they are becoming the main user group of outdoor public spaces in settlements. However,at present, outdoor public space in high-rise high-density settlements is only suitable for single groups, ignoring the common use of the old and the young. How to design outdoor public space in high-rise high-density settlements that is suitable for the old and the young to share, and how to create an outdoor public space landscape environment that is suitable for the old and the young is a problem we need to solve.Chongqing’s special geographical advantage has created diverse outdoor public spaces and promoted the development of various types of activities. As the mother city of Chongqing,Yuzhong District has a large number of high-rise,high-density settlements and a large population of young and old people, and with its long history of construction, the problem of the landscape environment in the outdoor public space of the settlements also arises. Therefore, from the perspective of sharing between the old and the young, this thesis takes the outdoor public space of high-rise high-density residential areas in Yuzhong District of Chongqing as the research object, and combines theory with design practice to provide some reference value for the landscape design of high-rise highdensity residential areas shared by the old and the young. The specific research is as follows:Firstly, this thesis draws on theories of environmental behaviour and behavioural psychology to sort out and summarise the physiological, behavioural and psychological needs of the elderly and the young.Based on this, twelve representative high-rise highdensity residential areas, including Xixin Yunqi Valley,Evergrande Metropolis and Vanke Jincheng, were selected for field research, and the outdoor public spaces were classified through observation.Secondly, from the perspective of outdoor public space users, the problem-oriented design principles and strategies for the design of high-rise,high-density outdoor public spaces suitable for sharing between the elderly and the young were proposed, taking into account the specific needs and activity characteristics of the elderly and the young; Finally, for the three typical high-rise high-density settlements studied, the optimized design of outdoor public space shared by the old and the young was carried out according to the proposed design principles and strategies, which showed that the landscape design of outdoor public space in high-rise high-density settlements based on the sharing of the old and the young needs to pay attention to the physiological, behavioral and psychological needs of the old and the young, and to explore the spatial layout, spatial functions, natural landscape levels, humanized facilities, spatial atmosphere and other aspects. The design exploration is carried out to stimulate multi-dimensional interaction and provide a more comfortable outdoor public space landscape environment for the old and young groups,so that they can fully integrate and entertain together and form a closer connection, thus enhancing their sense of belonging and happiness in the high-rise highdensity residential area. |
