Research On The Application Of Traditional Patterns To Modern Landscape Design

Modern Landscape Design is a focal point and natural, human and social relationships exist to meet the needs of the people and society. At the same time, it is an embodiment of cultural heritage, giving people enjoyment and cultural awareness at the same time. At present, landscape design in China means urban landscaping. With the rapid development of modern social science and technology, modern landscape design has been free from the shackles of tradition. However, a lot of urban landscape design tends to be formulaic, monotonous, and similar in form. And with little reasonable and meticulous design, they also lack cultural and regional features. Thus, modern landscape design can inherit the tradition and present the spirit of the times only through the research on the regional cultures and traditions.Chinese traditional culture has a long history, expressed in the forms of traditional and cultural patterns. The content and form of these designs provide a source of traditional patterns and at the same time also of regional characteristics. Shaanxi as the birthplace of Chinese civilization provides a unique regional culture, in which Shaanxi folk traditions of civil patterns reflected in external forms, will contain unique geographical and cultural connotations. In this paper, a pictorial retrospective of Shaanxi traditional history in the form of Shaanxi folk art, folk culture, architecture and culture of Shaanxi traditional patterns will provide an in-depth analysis and study in order to understand the regional and cultural characteristics of Shaanxi and their integration in modern landscape design, so that regional cultural characteristics of the city can be fully reflected in the landscape. Traditional culture and modern, integrated landscape design, the promotion of the traditional culture of Shaanxi as well as architecture play an important role and significance.On the other hand this will involve traditional Shaanxi patterns and aesthetics, symbols, psychology, communication and other content related to the comparative study. At the same time, traditional Shaanxi patterns and the use of the integration of environment, material, color and form, such as multi-angle analysis, will be theoretically analyzed, with a large number of visual, in-depth study cases of design, landscape design for public spaces. The traditional and modern design elements of the logo have a dual function. In regards to the promotion of traditional culture, attention should be given to the successful integration of environment with the local people. This type of traditional landscape design has played a role in the study of China's other cities, which have also made use of landscape design and have learnt from such comparative studies.
