A Study On Space Structure And Architecture Pattern Of Banliang Settlement In Yong Xing City, Hunan Province

The research of protection renew and development of traditional settlement is a big lesson to environment. In recent years, because of the Large-Scale economy consruction, tradition with modern and economy with the worth of culture in history, seem to be more and more obvious in development of traditional settlement. This thesis research is under this background to start.The pattern formation of Banliang ancient village has the spontaneity and fortuitousness, but its spatial environment structure fully manifests the integrity and the coordination. This thesis with a flood of investigating on the spot with survey and map, making use of the abundant picture data, by combining architectrual theory with sociology, economy, ecology and psychology, aesthetics, from the culture of Banliang's place region, studys the settlenment structure and space in macro view, medium view and tiny view three layers.The full thesis is divided into eight chapters:in chaper 1, it mainly discusses the research history and present condition of the traditional dwelling, elaborates the main purpose and meaning of the research; in chapter2, it mainly eleborates the culture, nature commences and geography of Banliang's place region; in chapter3, it mainly analyzes the reason of choosing the address of Banliang and inquiries into the settlement type and Feng shui: theories'influence to Banliang's exterior appearance.from the macro view layer The chapter 4 and 5 analyzes space structure and special features space of Banliang from the medium view layer, discusses the impact factor and basic characteristic of Banliang, with analyzing the regulation of development and crack in Banliang, The chapter 6 and 7 analyzes the people resides and construction technique of Banliang from the tiny view layer, emphasizing to analyze the important space of people resides just as courtyard and hall house. It also investigates the preface of people resides in Banliang. The chapter 8 summaries the experience of Banliang and put forward to the superficial viewpoint of protection and renewtion of Banliang.
