The Settlement And The People Residence Appearance Analysis In Liang Village Of Pingyao County

The article mainly analyzes and discusses the settlement and the peopleresidence appearance of Liang Village, which is located in the southeast ofPingyao County in Shanxi. It is no more than 6 kilometers from Pingyao ancientcity and is just around the cape of Huiji River, one of Fen River's subsidiarystreams. And Liang Village connects with Mountain Meng in the south andYinhui Reservoir in the north. Liang Village is totally 6.2 square kilometers,having 1800 acres of farmland and 4500 people. There is old Pingqin Highwayand new Pingmeng Highway lie from the west to south through the village .Different kinds of customs are still kept there. There are, in all, five oldfortresses(Donghe Fortress, Xi'ning Fortress, Nanqian Fortress, ChangtaiFortress and Tianshun Fortress). These five fortresses have long history andspecial features, and they are the representative of the people residence withancient fortress type. Moreover, Liang Village has abundant water resources. Inthe ancient, it has "Shen Chi Quan Yong(from the pond springs blow out)", with3 square meters' discharge per second. And now it has the biggest reservoir inPmgyao——Yinhui Reservoir, which makes Liang Village "Small Chiang-Nanin the North China". In the village, 134200 square meters of tradition buildings exist, covering 1342 hectares. In a word, Liang Village is a place which gathers Buddhism culture, Jin Company's culture, building culture and people's custom culture together. The article can be divided into five chapters. Chapter 1 gives reasons of making this research and some related research methods. Chapter 2 gives the background data of the village, including nature background, history background, humanities background etc. Chapter 3 and Chapter 4, the most important part of all, analyze the settlement and the people residence appearance of the village. Chapter 3 studies the settlement appearance. Liang Village lies in the cape of Huiji River and has five old fortresses. The shape of the village can be described as "phoenix's spreading wings". People can feel "two dragons hugging phoenix" from seeing the shape. The location of Liang Village is great and reappears prosperous Tang Dynasty's "Lifang rule". And the five fortresses show the core magic power of the settlement. Chapter 4 concentrates on the people residence to analyze. The types of the residence are varies . There are altogether 132 integrated ancient courtyards, most of which have the style of the character "日" or the character "目". This chapter discusses the people residence from the following aspects: residence-constituting factors, such as doors and shadow walls, the space appearance from the outside to the inside, and the building technical and decoration art of Gu Yao. Chapter 5 shows the plan and some measures of Liang Village's protection and development.The whole article tries to describe Liang Village objectively from the above points and survey Liang village from the design of achievement,the art of achievement and technology of achievement and so on. Liang's long-history buildings, indeed, are valuable in today's building study. But till now, some villagers and monks continue living in these buildings. The true life makes Liang Village precious. The article, according to lots of analysis, puts forward more modern views on how to protect and try to return the village residence, make its history continue, and develop the regional economy.
