A bird survey was conducted in White Tower Airport of Hohhot in Inner Mongolia from Nov. 2004 to Nov. 2005. A total of 112 bird species belonging to 34 families and 15 orders were recorded. Among them, 89 bird species, which belong to 32 families and 14 orders were recorded in belt transects. We analyzed the composition of avian community and its community structure from different habitats of each season in this Airport. The results showed that the stenotopic bird species played crucial roles in all avian community of each season and that they at least accounted for 65% of all birds in each season. The similarity coefficients between "C" region and "D" region of avian community is the highest value in winter, but the lowest one is between "A" region and "B" region in winter, spring and summer. The avian community structure indices for "A" region in each season are as follows, the birds diversity index in "A" region: autumn> spring> summer>winter, the birds evenness index: autumn> spring>summer>winter, the birds dominance: winter> summer > autumn > spring, the birds density: summer > winter > autumn > spring; The avian community structure indices for "B" region in each season are as follows,...
