With the development of computer and CAD/CAM technology, manufacturing industry had used CAD/CAM software widely. The application of CAD/CAM technology to manufacturing industry can increase design efficiency, optimize blue print, lessen designer's labor intensity and shorten project's period. These years, in order to gain more economic benefit, some corporations are going to adopt three-dimensional CAD technology after the application of two-dimensional CAD technology. It's proved that to make CAD software works more effectively, further development of them to realize the specialization and customization of CAD/CAM system is necessary.Bridge crane is applied in all fields of country economy construction widely and the products have many series. With the development of economy construction, the customer's demand of performance to crane becomes more and more high. But at present, the design way is still rest on the two-dimensional stage, the workload is great, the course of design isn't intuitionistic and the errors in design courses are not been detected easily.In the foundation of acquaintance and mastery of the function and further development skills of SolidWorks, studied the principle and realization ways of computer aided design, this paper puts forward the realization method of innovation design system of bridge crane's structure parts on SolidWorks software platform.In this paper, take the construction parts of QD series bridge crane as study objects, take the Visual Basic 6.0 as develop tools, take SolidWorks as platform to carry on further development. The emphasis of this paper are at: the global design of design system; the parametric construction of girder, end girder, bridge frame; the design of user interface; the further development of two-dimensional drawings; the realization of interface between girder, end girder structure parts and ANSYS software.
