Research On Management And Actualization Of Urban Design

If a precept can not be actualized, the design is nothing but papers. The management and actualization of urban design is world-wide concerned nowadays. It means the control and steer during the construction of the city's substantial system by using administrative, economic and legal methods. And its purpose is to fulfill the goal of urban design and put the precept into practice.The research will be divided into three parts, i.e. organizing design, appraising design and constituting policy. At the beginning, by clarifying the concept of urban design, it obtains the theoretical preparation of the research. And then, it puts forward that the urban design is also a part of urban planning and has its own contents by stages. It is suggested that urban design become an authorized scheme-out of our country's urban planning system. Thirdly, it sets forth the five standards of urban design and the course of design appraisement. Furthermore, it is stressed that social participation in urban design has distinct democratic signification, and supervises the process of policy constitution also. Social participation is essential for urban design wherewith as a public policy. Finally, by studying the meaning, approach and signification of legislation of urban design, it tries to establish a system that fits in with our country's circumstances of urban design, which also guarantees the management and actualization of urban design going on wheels.
