Testing instruments are the important tools in science research. Every instrument includes three function components. They are signal acquisition and control, signal analysis and processing, expression and output of results. The traditional instrument could finish these functions only by hardware. And these functions were defined by manufacturer exclusively, so it could be applied with restriction. With the development of computer science technology the virtual instrument is come true, which achieve the perfect combination of computer science technology and instrument technology. This realizes and enhances functions of traditional instrument. The virtual instrument has many characteristics, such as: simple structure, short develop-periods, extendable system, convenient to maintenance, and so on. At the same time, it's convenient to connect net and external equipments. Because of this, we can share the data and info. Virtual instrument initiates the new era that the instrument users can be the instrument designers. Virtual instrument delegates the direction of instrument.Conform the trend of instrument development, in this thesis the author adopts Labwindows/CVI software development environment based on ANSI C library, using skillfully DLL technique, develops virtual flux and press instrument, based on ADVANTECH PCI-1711L data acquisition card. DLL technique is used to finish all of work in Labwindows/CVI software development environment. The work includes acquisition, analysis, display and storage about flux and press signal in real time. In this thesis, elements, design theory, design method, chart, software andhard ware' design process is expounded concretely. GUI is designed too, and also, the virtual instrument is proofread and used to test data in spot. Experiment shows that the system has many outstanding characteristics, which are perfect function, higher precision, higher efficiency, lower cost. So it is a useful and practical test-instrument.This thesis takes Labwindows/CVI as its development environment, it can form independent setup software package and run absolutely deviating the development environment, accordingly, its setup is easy and has a strong practicability. The cantonment of parameters of the virtual instruments is all processed through the GUI in this thesis. The design of the GUI is visual and easy to handle. User could transplant, improve, the virtual instrument or enhance its function through program pertinently. The test system can be widely used in teaching and experimentation about flux machine, engineering signal analysis, fault diagnosis, and so on.
