| With widely-existing problems in the vocational ability development of Senior Vocational Students, especially those of Marine Engineering Technology, such as the separation of the schools and the enterprises, the impractical course system, the lack of students practical ability and teaching resources, The paper take the vocational ability development of marine engineering technology major students in fujian communications technology collegge as an example and study and probe the effective and engineering-featured pattern for the vocational ability development of Marine Engineering Technology talents, taking the advantage of the construction of national model senior vocational colleges, oriented towards the vocation needs. In this process, we focus on talents vocational ability development and the reformation of the teaching model, using the previous breakthrough as a foundation. Through this research the paper are expecting to work a effective and engineering-featured pattern for the vocational ability development of Marine Engineering Technology talents and raise their comprehensive ability.The research of the paper is starting with the occupational post group, analyzing the occupational demands of the Marine Engineering Technology jobs and then defining the evaluation standard of the ability of the Marine Engineering Technology major students. Furthermore, we will do research on the relationship between the curriculum provision and the demands of talents quality, knowledge and capability. Meanwhile, we put forward some novel suggestions as well, like the necessity of introducing the course of Management in the curricular system of Marine Engineering Technology major.A reform scheme on Marine Engineering Technology major teaching plan has been projected in the research, setting up the learning target, scene and content of the core curriculum and online curriculum as well as refining the provision and requirement of the intensive practical course.It is from 2007 to 2009 that the collegge (fujian communications technology collegge) take measures to fulfill the research achievement. Now the collegge have probed the novel teaching method for the core course Periodic Interaction between Theory and Practice, completed the video recording for two practice evaluation courses and popularized various modern teaching means and diverse teaching evaluation method, greatly improving the teaching effect. At the same time, faculties are being trained intensively and many advanced labs have been built. Marine Machinery Simulator Laboratory (2008), Automatic Engine Room Laboratory (2009) and Marine main engine and auxiliary machine disassembly and assembly training center (2009) have been constructed respectively.The whole paper ends up with the data and charts to show the achievements of our research. |
