Post Processing For XKN714 Milling Machine Based On Mastercam

Mastercam9.0 is the numerical control system of CAD/CAM developed by American CNC Software Company, majored in numerical control processing. Mastercam9.0 numerical control system first makes the NCI files according to graph and processing information. But NCI files can not transmit directly to numerical control machine tool, it can't control numerical control machine tool normally by special post processing programme of all kinds of numerical control system until it transforms NCI files to NC files received and identified by numerical control system.The XKN714 numerical control milling machine of my college disposes Simens's SINUMERIK802D numerical control system,It can not find the corresponding postpositioned disposal procedure in the MasterCAM.The NC procedure cannot directly apply,which needs artificially to make the massive revisions, so it is not convenient and easy to make the mistake. Therefore we must carry on the essential revision and the reset with the postpositioneddisposal procedure MPFAN according to the numerical control engine bed structure, the control system programming principle and the correspondence connection request.This satisfies the numerical control processing request,and displays the software CAM module the desired effect.The special post processing program has been developed by analyzing the structure and design methods of Mastercam9.0 post processing software in this thesis based on SINUMERIK 802D numerical control system of numerical control milling machine XKN714. It makes the programme formed by MasterCAM9.0 apply to processing of XKN714 numerical control milling machine.After running on XKN714 numerical control milling machine , it has been proved that special post processing programme is realiable and high efficiency and it can realize the automatization of numerical control processing.
