Research And Development Of SINUMERIK802D Post-processing Based On MasterCAM

The numerical control machine is controlled by the numerical control program, and a series of special CNC instruction code Constitute the numerical control program. Programming people use CAM software to make interactive programming for the port being processed, and the machining process information of the part being processed will be set, which will generate tool-path NCI files. Nowadays, the control systems adopted by the NC machine tools are different, and the NC instruction which is able to be identified is also different. The post processing is based on the tool-path files and it translates tool-path NCI files into the NC instruction which is identified and executived in normal standard format, in fact, it is a process of text-edit treatment. The final purpose of the post processing is to generate code program which is suitable for actual NC system. The post processing is a key step finally in the process where the computer aided machining will be basically carried out, and it will directly decide whether the processing program generated by the CAM software can be operated successfully.In this thesis, the structure and designing method of the post processing program of MasterCAM9.0 software were analyzed, and the special post processing program had been developed, which combined with the programming features of the XK5032 NC milling machine made in NANTON and the CAK6150 NC lathe made in SHENYANG where the SINUMERIK802D system were configured.The fact shows:1) The special post processing program can directly make the programs generated by the MasterCAM9.0 software used in the NC milling machine and the NC lathe.2) The special post processing program can improve the efficiency of the MasterCAM9.0 software programming and realize NC-Machining automation.
