Post Processing Program Design Based On MasterCAM9.0 For XH715 CNC Machine Center

Mastercam9.0 oriented in numerical control processing is a CAD/CAM numerical control system developed by CNC Software Company in American. It uses an interactive graphical programming method to achieve automatic NC program design. When Mastercam9.0 numerical control system is used to cut machine part, NCI files must be produced according to graph information and processing information firstly. The NCI files, however, can not be directly diliveryed to CNC machine tool, until the NCI files are transformed into files, which can be received and identified by NC system. In order to control NC machine tool correetly, various special post positional process programmers have to be employed.NC program is generated automatically by software control post-processing functions, Different processing modules (such as turning, milling, wire cutting, etc.) and different numerical control system correspond to different post-processing documents. Current software uses a post-processing file which was set in the software installation, In the specific application software to program before the general need of the current post-processing file and set the necessary changes to make it meet the system requirements and user programming habits. If there are no changes to the post-processing files, it will lead to the generation of NC program where some fixed number of redundant elements often or always miss some of the statements, Therefore, before the program CNC machine tools imported, you must manually modify the program, If not all correct, it may cause an accident.The structures and desighn methods of Mastercam9.0 postpositional processing programmer are analyzed in this thesis. Special postpositional processing programmer is developed combining with programming feature of XH715 type CNC Machining Center, with is based on SINUMERIK 802D numerical control system. The progam can produce program, which can be used to cut machine parts in XH715 CNC Machine Center, by MasterCAM9.0. After running on XH715 CNC Machine Center, it proved that the programming efficiency can be improved can and the automatization of numerical control processing can be carried out by the special postpositional processing programmer.
