Advanced numerical control equipment and numerical control technology are an important basis of modern machinery manufacturing industry, they are an important symbol to measure the level of a country’s industrial modernization. This paper analyzes the key techniques in the process of NC machining of complex surfaces, focus on the following three aspects of the problems: The key factors of five-axis NC machining are studied, including programming method, process analysis, cutting tools, selection of cutting tools and error analysis. The key factors that affect high speed machining are analyzed, such as CAD model, machine tool, machining path strategy. The five-axis NC machining program is developed, the rotation angle of the five-axis NC machine tool is optimized, the structure error of machine tool is compensated. Effectively optimize the NC machining program, reduce the nonlinear error and improve the machining quality and machining precision of the parts. In view of the complicated curved surface parts, the machining method of the NC machining is proposed, and the appropriate tool path control method is adopted, and the tool axis control method is set up. The tool path and the NC program are obtained, and process a qualified entity parts. Through the research of this paper, it can provide a reference for the development of five axis NC machining program of complex curved surface parts, which is beneficial to the application of five axis NC machining technology.
