The agricultural products quality safety accidents occur frequently in China in recentyears. It is the best way of solving quality problem to build the information managementsystem aiming at agricultural products quality; On the other side, As Internet and GIStechnology gradually maturing, WebGIS provides a solid foundation for building theinformation management system. Based on the analysis of system relevant to agriculturalproducts quality inland and overseas, the agricultural products quality informationmanagement system on the basis of WebGIS is built. The system not only makes thetraditional textual information display graphically,but also updates the quality information intime,which can make the users acquire the real time information and then largely reduce therisk incurred by the agricultural products quality.The thesis mainly includes the following:(1) In this paper, the current situation and implementation technique of WebGIS areintroduced, and the current technique--Ajax which is applied in the webpage and the relateddetails are presented; At the same time, the development environment and the key technologyof ArcGIS Server are analysed. On the basis of the theories above, the system comforms to thethree-layer architecture, moreover,it adopts the WebGIS components provided by ArcGISServer and object-oriented ASP.net language.(2) The design of the agricultural products quality information management system basedon WebGIS. In the light of the order of detection(report),evaluation and emergency response,the overall framework of the infomation management system is presented, and the separatedatabase storage mode of spatial data and attribute data is chosen. Besides,directing at thedifference of Web application, some fundamental rules which must be observed in the processof development are given out.(3) The implementation of the agricultural products quality information management system based on WebGIS. The system takes fully advantage of WebGIS, then realize a seriesof advanced GIS functionalities related to agricultural products quality on the internet. Apartfrom that, the system gives traceability(dispersing) model and evaluation model relevantclosely to agricultural products quality emergency response,the former model is to identify theorigin and influential area of substandard products in the GeoSpace,the latter model is toevaluate the the agricultural products quality safety accidents and ascertain the relativelyreasonable grade.
