Actualization Of The Second National Land Survey Database Based On UML

The Second National Land Survey had started on July 1st, 2007.By the end of December 31st, 2009, three main assignments——Countryside Land Survey, City Land Survey and Prime Farmland Survey——had been completed. As the forth assignment, the building of land survey database of all levels land and resource departments had been started as well. Whether the land survey database could be built well or not,that not only could determine that whether this national survey was successful or not,also determine that whether the data of this survey could played a significant role fully and efficiently in future.Therefore this paper uses the advanced spatial data model and object—oriented modeling method to create Land Survey Database,taking the JiLin Province Countryside Land Survey Database for example. As well as,paper provides a kind of reference for the building of City Land Survey Database and the whole database.Paper introduces the concept and characteristic of Geodatabase data model which is widely used at present, and the concept and superiority of UML and CASE tools. On this basis, paper discuses that how to use them to modeling the Geodatabase. Then paper analyses the content, attribute and relationship of data of Countryside Land Survey and the structure of Countryside Land Survey Database primarily. On the base of the analysis, the structure diagram of Geodatabase of Countryside Land Survey Database is created by UML. Then using CASE tools convert the structure diagram into Geodatabase of Countryside Land Survey Database.
