Currently, many schools still do not prefect on real estate management, particularly around the university in order to focus its resources have merged in recent years, the result is public housing of campus on the basis of data transmission and management inconvenience. Meanwhile, a considerable part of the work still remains in the manual stage, difficult to be precise, various functional departments exchange of information and publishing is hindered. in recent years, Network technology has rapid development and information industries have begun construction, the traditional practices and technical means of management on campus public housing can not meet the needs. Campus public housing management to achieve scientific, standardized, automated, so that the campus public housing is reasonable and efficient use and well maintained, we must apply the new science technology and management tools. In this paper, based on the analysis of data of University owned housing characteristics and the actual situation, applications of network technology, database technology, space technology, taking into account the system's adaptability, development, a set of real estate property management information system have completed, it processing speedly, analysis scientific, convenient query , graphics and management integrated. The main features of the system is the application of GIS-related knowledge, distribution of the spatial and geographical coordinates applied to the real estate management information system, to achieve three-dimensional display of campus room functions, so that visualization of public housing information, Teaching resources management more intuitive .In addition to the system using Internet publishing of spatial data, users can browse, check and location the situation of the property's use, and analytical and interactive features. In this paper, part of the geographic information system secondary development completion with the ESRI's ArcGIS 9.3, public housing on the campus has been three-dimensional modeling, the system not only incorporates the basic properties information on the campus housing data, but also integrated into the spatial data of the campus plan and Situation map, unified space and attribute information for public housing, to achieve a B / S mode, integration of the management information system and geographic information system, thus contributing to the automation of logistic service, improve efficiency of the public housing management, in order to further explore the WEB-based management information system of campus,and basis for further study the digitization of the city, it is a useful exploration for accumulated experience and information of the Construction of Digital City's, with far-reaching practical significance.
