With the expanding area of higher education campus, the building increased, a variety of pipe network, electricity and communication lines of the cross-distribution, the management of the school has brought a lot of the same, with the number of campus information systems to support good school management, this system is based on Qingshuihe University of Electronic Science and Technology campus, for example, the use of sophisticated network technology, communication technology, GIS technical support to the campus buildings, the ground underground pipe network, roads, rivers, topography, vegetation, and gave a good description and show that the initial realization of the digital campus vision.The Digital Campus Based on ArcGIS geographic information system is a concrete application of GIS technology. This paper describes the University of Electronic Science and Technology Digital Campus building on the basis of meaning and purpose, first discussed the emergence and development of GIS, ArcGIS software, described in detail the technical features and use of the software project approach. And made the University of Electronic Science and Technology campus Qingshuihe overall design of digital campus architecture, University of Electronic Science and Technology Qingshuihe Campus Geographic Information System Based on ERSI's ArcGIS products to build, using ArcObject components for development. The software sub-client and server-side two parts,ArcObject developed based on the client, server-side using ArcSDE for Oracle as a spatial data engine, the object - relational database Oracle 9i as the back-end database, management, spatial data and attribute data. NET architecture and framework, introduced the system software configuration and installation, and spatial data processing to do the research, finally, the article describes the detailed design of spatial database systems, analysis of Electronic Science and Technology Qingshuihe campus of the University Digital Campus Geographic Information System design and implementation of some functions of the source code as well as the papers made the key technology research and test the system's functional modules, the initial realization of the digital campus geographic information systems.
